Ground Zero
we all start from ground zero.
at least once,
in our lives.
at least once,
at birth.
more than once,
after birth.
unless to some, who
sees things differently,
from reality.
well, aren't they all perfectionists?
you see, we all have to
restart and relearn
at some point.
it's unavoidable.
hitting rock bottom at ground zero
is unavoidable.
but hardened soil breaks into cracks, giving
way to droplets of water, seeping
through particles of soil, clumping
together amidst restless roots, wrestling
their way out to
see
the
sun.
oh, how glorious,
is
that
sun.
at ground zero,
new
life
begins.
Sometimes growth is not restricted to improving from a certain level of ability/knowledge but to humble oneself and strip away all that you’ve understood about that ‘thing’ in order to gain new insights and successfully grow.
To learn is to relearn.
Just like a baby.
